| Choosing the right spy equipment Choosing
the right spy equipment can be a daunting task. So many advances
have been made in technology, that sometimes the choices seem
overwhelming. This is a good reason to do business with totalsecuritywarehouse.com
- you can benefit from our years of experience in this industry
to help you in choosing the spy equipment that is right for
you.
We have one of the largest selections of spy equipment available
anywhere, including wired and wireless cameras, complete video
surveillance systems, a large selection of hidden cameras,
digital video recorders, bug detectors and audio recorders.
Here are just a few brief suggestions to help you in choosing
the right equipment.
We have wired or wireless video cameras available
in our inventory of spy equipment. Use a wired camera where
distance is a factor. Use a wireless one for ease of installation.
When choosing a wireless camera, look for a 2.4 GHz operating
frequency for increased range and reduced interference. Choose
a model with a rechargeable battery pack for the easiest installation
possible.
We also have both color and black and white
cameras. There are a few trade-offs between the two types.
Color cameras provide more information, such as the color
of a person's clothing or the color of a car. However, black
and white cameras provide better overall resolution and better
low-light operation. Some black and white cameras, using infrared
technology, can actually "see" in the dark! Also,
black and white cameras can usually operate on less power
than color cameras. We also have special day/night cameras
that feature the best of both worlds - they operate in color
during the day when there is more available light, and switch
to black and white at night or in low-light situations. Consider
one of our models with X-Vision for the best low-light performance
possible - X-Vision technology allows clear images to be recorded
down to .003 LUX - this is almost total darkness!
Another type of spy equipment that you will
need to go along with your video cameras is some type of recording
device. We have a large selection of DVRs (Digital Video Recorders)
for this purpose. We have models that are pc-based or self-contained.
We also have a package that includes all of the necessary
hardware and software for you to use your existing PC as a
DVR. One feature to look for in a DVR is the ability to view
your images over the internet. Also, consider the number of
channels available - you will need one channel for each camera.
Our selection of spy equipment also includes
complete video surveillance systems. We have systems designed
for security purposes, as well as systems designed for covert
surveillance. The security systems include between 4 and 16
cameras, with both wired and wireless systems available. For
covert surveillance, choose from a self-contained briefcase
system with 2 hidden cameras, a backpack system, or a complete
system installed in a ladies' purse.
No selection of spy equipment would be complete
without bug detectors. These devices, actually RF (Radio Frequency)
signal scanners, can be used to "sweep" a room for
hidden transmitting devices. We have models available that
use an LCD display to show the actual frequency of the detected
device, as well as models that show the signal strength of
the detected signal on a bar graph.
Audio recorders round out our excellent selection
of spy equipment. Cassette recorders are a thing of the past,
with digital audio now setting the standard. We have models
available with 36, 144 or 288 hours of recording time. Also,
look for USB connectivity, for ease in transferring the audio
files to a personal computer.
As you can see, choosing the right spy equipment
requires a good deal of knowledge. You can benefit from our
years of experience by allowing us to help you choose the
equipment that is right for you.
